At Christian Liberty Foundation, our aim is providing timeless information products that aren't influenced by current-day politics, economics, or societal and cultural trends, but rather influenced by truth that has been tested for decades, centuries, and millennias.
On Christian Liberty

Abstract: On Christian Liberty makes the case that the freedom we love not only came from the impact of Christ on the world, but that the gospel of freedom is different from the reigning ideologies, dogmas and “ism’s” we all know. This matters because if we don’t know our roots, we risk losing our beautiful tree of liberty.

We contrast Christian Liberty with rival worldviews, including Scientism, Secularism, Socialism and Materialism, as well as with Liberalism, Classical Liberalism, Conservatism, Libertarianism and others to illustrate what it is that makes Christian Liberty unique and indispensable to protect the freedom we love.
Considerations are given to contemporary issues such as Civil Disobedience and Liberation Theology, and edicts given to Christians about how we should live. With reference to Mill, Hayek, Lewis, Burke and others, apologies examined of freedom of speech, the ‘correct’ way to live, education, civil disobedience, the relationship of mankind to state and other timeless problems to solve.
Liberty Thick and Thin
Abstract: Liberty Thick and Thin is a challenge put forth to a world that believes that reason is king and leads us to utopia. Contrasts are made between incremental politics, policy and election victory and the elusive ‘Overton Window’, and the Big Ideas of Liberty on which our world was built and that set the captives free.

Election and policy victories matter, but they’re only as ‘Thick’ as the characters of the men and women involved and can be (and often are) undone in the next election cycle. Christian Liberty, on the other hand, is a ‘Thick’ kind of freedom that men and women have died for, built on anthropology, epistemology and cosmic worldview the others just don’t have. And without Christian Liberty, we lack a moral compass. Karma, superstition, tribalism, and a belief that man is matter does not show the way to dignity, peace and liberty.

We conclude by proposing the gospel of Christ is the gateway to free hearts and minds, and communities. Walzer described in his book Thick and Thin a late-modern response to postmodern critiques of globalism, localism, self and community, working them into a framework of justice. We propose a different kind of justice built on the gospel that is uniquely equipped to answer the big questions and provide that moral compass. Sustainability matters and without these deep roots we risk losing everything we have accomplished in the West.

Liberty Thick and Thin concludes by asking the perennial question “How Then Shall We Live?” and the relationship of Christians to community and the state in particular. We consider engagement, retreat and Benedictine options of cloture, and instead of a complex theory of justice in war, we propose a theory of justice and peace founded on an historical act in Jerusalem that really and truly took place more than two thousand years ago.

Liberty 365
Daily Meditations
Abstract: Liberty 365 is a mindfulness guide to remind us each day of the freedom we have through Christ Jesus. Each day is a different meditation on freedom and liberty from a Christian worldview, by the best Christians voices and of course from the teachings of Jesus himself.
Join us on a journey of training ourselves to be humble and grateful, sure of what we know and hopeful in the faith we share. The mediations are short and made to provide encouragement each day and comfort and night when we need a friendly voice in our heart.

From Schaeffer to St. Paul, Girard to Ten Boom, readers connect with the giants of faith. And what Jesus taught about what it means to be free is reminded each day as we fight the good fight and aim for the prize with love for each other, together.
